2. Hosting and Infrastructure

Our systems and website are hosted on high-performance dedicated servers ("Bare-Metal"). These servers are located primarily in European and specifically German locations. All data collected through this website (IP addresses, meta and communication data) is processed on our servers or by our provider, with strict adherence to a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

3. Data Collection on the Website

Cookies (Essential Data)

Our website exclusively uses so-called "essential" cookies, which are technically necessary to ensure basic functions such as storing login status and user settings. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in error-free technical provision. No tracking or third-party marketing cookies are used without explicit consent.

Server Log Files

The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us (Nginx/Access Logs). This includes: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer and time of the server request, as well as your IP address.
This data is not merged with other data sources. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free display and optimization of their website – audit logs must be maintained for this purpose.

4. Discord Registration (OAuth2)

When you use our web platform and the associated dashboard, we use the so-called OAuth2 procedure via the external identity provider "Discord" (Discord Inc., San Francisco, CA, USA) for authentication.

Once you log in to KiroCloud via Discord (Login button), Discord transmits the following data from your profile to us in accordance with your authorization settings:

  • Your Discord ID (an internal, numeric identifier)
  • Your username (Username/Tag)
  • Your registered email address (only essential for verification of KiroCloud services)
  • Your profile picture (Avatar)

We process this data exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, as this information is essential for the creation and maintenance of your user account on our KiroCloud User Dashboard.

5. Rights of Data Subjects

You have the right at any time, within the framework of applicable legal provisions (GDPR), to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing (Art. 15 GDPR). Furthermore, you have a right to rectification (Art. 16), blocking or deletion (Art. 17) of this data.
